POKER.COM
Launched in May 2005, Poker.com is a fresh, independent poker room making a serious stab at the online poker market (they certainly have a great name for doing just that). The software is decent but needs a few updates to be completely satisfactory. The player volume is not great but still surprisingly good given that they are a stand alone room just starting out in the business. Poker.com does not have a lot of game variety yet, with only Texas Hold'em and Omaha High offered. There are quite a few high value promotions at Poker.com, most notably they offer a $20,000 weekly freeroll. Poker.com currently has 500-600 ring game players at peak hours and 900-1,100 tournament players (March 2006).  Overall Rating: 6.56
Sign-up Bonus: $100

There are quite a few juicy games at Party Poker with loose action even up to the $30/$60 limits. However, you don't get the statistics to easily locate those games. Recently (October, 2005) black jack, side bet (bet that the flop comes with all red cards etc), and deal making features was implemented in the software.
